WGE Episode 43 - Smackdown

This is the first Smackdown of Season 2, and it looks to be a good one. On Raw, Christian challenged World Heavyweight Champion Wade Barrett for his former championship, but lost in his attempt. However, Barrett's world soon came crashing down, as Brock Lesnar's music hit. Lesnar won a monsters brawl match at Wrestlemania, where the winner would become the number one contender for Smackdown's World title. McMahon announced that Lesnar was cashing in his right for a World title match and Barrett was not pleased. Lesnar went on to become the new World Heavyweight Champion in a matter of seconds. We will hear from Brock Lesnar tonight in his championship speech. As we saw on the WGE draft, R-Truth, Mason Ryan, Daniel Bryan and Santino Marella are coming to WGE in Season 2. We already saw Mason Ryan's debut on Raw in a losing effort against the Intercontinental Champion Sheamus. Will any of those names debut tonight? One of the last Smackdown draft picks of the night of the WGE Draft seemed to be the most diasappointing. Brandon Adams. The first ever CAW in WGE is now on a main brand. He doesn't seem to have a lot of popularity, both among fans and staff, but we will see what he can do tonight against Booker T. Will Adams impress? Or will Booker just dominate Brandon? Tonight we have an epic match booked. The United States Champion CM Punk takes on AJ Styles. These are both very impressive young high flying stars who always seem to give it their all. Who will come out the victor tonight? Tonight's main event is "The Animal" Batista taking on former World Heavyweight Champion Wade Barrett. This is the first time we've seen Batista in a month or two since he lost a number one contender match to Edge at the end of Season 1. Has Batista got a little bit of ring rust?
