Velkhana v Charge Blade Clashing Swords Upon the Rime ---------- So close to sub 3' !! Had a few mistakes; got hit a couple of times and whiffed an ultra. But I cannot waste a god spawn. This run was with a different build than the last. ‪@AFansPerspective‬ had suggested trying out Strife + Dereliction. This gave room for some comfy skills that were key to the run. Eating for Ice Resistance gave +21 total which made me resistant to ice blight. This is huge as it gave me breathing room for mistakes. Added Intrepid Heart which then saved me at 2:33. Guard 5 + Embolden is necessary to tank Velk's ice beams without taking chip damage or taking out the red health. Was also able to max Burst and add a point of Offensive Guard. But what probably had improved the most is the ability to target its legs (30 ezv) more consistently; albeit this also means farming for tail stabs as often as possible. I also risked not getting the 3rd wirebug as there's a huge chance that Velk would run off to attack the small monsters. Sub 3' is close but grinding for spawn is quite exhausting. Build: 3:14
