INGREDIENTS YOU WILL NEED::: Whole garam masala(spices): 1 stick of cinnamon 1 black cardamom 5-6 pieces of cloves 4-5 pieces of small cardamoms 17-18 pieces of black pepper corns 2 bay leaves 1 cup yoghurt 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste 1 tbsp lemon juice ½ tsp red chili powder 1 and ½ tsp coriander powder ½ tsp turmeric powder ½ tsp cumin seeds(roasted and crushed) ½ tsp garam masala powder 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp salt 4 green chilies 10-12 pieces of almonds and cashew nuts 1/3 cup cooking cream 720 g chicken 1 cup fried onions ¾ cup oil PROCEDURE::: In a blender, put 2 green chilies, half the almonds and cashew nuts and 2 tsp of yoghurt and blend together to a paste. Marinate your chicken with this paste and set aside. Warm half the oil in a pan and put in the whole dry spices (garam masala). Add ginger- garlic paste in the hot oil, fry for a minute and then add your marinated chicken. Fry everything together really well. When the chicken changes color, add the rest of the oil in. Put in all the powder spices and leftover yoghurt and cook well. Add 1/3 cup of water, and cover and cook. Once the chicken is cooked, pour in the cooking cream and rest of the fried onions. Put in the leftover almonds and cashew nuts and green chilies and mix it all up! Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with naan! There you have it , the best shahi qorma you will ever eat!
