Dalit Woman Assaulted, Killed In Bijnor Ahead Of Hathras Aniversary

GoShorts: In yet another shame for Uttar PRadesh, a 24-year old Dalit woman and national level kho kho player was found strangled and assaulted in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor. She lost her life some hours after being discovered. India's tide of crimes against Dalits, and specifically Dalit women, shows no signs of abating. Ahead of the brutal Hathras atrocity's anniversary, we must take urgent steps legally and socially to quell this inhumanity.
