Mathew Viray - Your Glory Shines | Christmas Song (Emotional)

This song, “Your Glory Shines,” came from a place I don’t always talk about those nights when everything feels quiet, but not because life is peaceful… more because you’re carrying things alone. I composed and wrote this song during a season when my heart felt heavy, when the world around me was full of Christmas lights but I couldn’t feel any of their warmth. I wanted to create something honest, something that reminded me and anyone listening that even in the moments you feel unseen, God is still close. Christmas can be beautiful, but it can also be lonely. Sometimes the lights don’t fix what’s hurting. Sometimes the cold outside feels like the same cold you’re trying to hide inside. But while I was writing these lyrics, I felt this quiet truth over and over again: Christ shows up in the silence. He meets you where you’re broken. He sits with you in the room no one else notices. And His presence begins to fill the spaces you thought would stay empty forever. So when I say “It’s starting to feel like Christmas tonight,” it’s not just about the season. It’s about that moment when hope slowly returns. When you remember God hasn’t moved away from you. When His peace makes the night feel warm again even if nothing around you has changed. I wrote “Your Glory Shines” for anyone who feels broken this season…For anyone smiling on the outside but hurting on the inside…For anyone who needs to be reminded that Jesus came for the wounded, the weary, and the ones who feel like they’re barely holding on. You’re not forgotten. You’re not alone. And His glory still shines...even in your darkest night. _______ Key Scriptures Reflected in This Song: • Isaiah 9:2 – “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light… a light has dawned.” • Luke 2:10–11 – “I bring you good news of great joy… today a Savior has been born to you.” • John 1:14 – “The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us… full of grace and truth.” • Matthew 1:23 – “They will call Him Immanuel, which means ‘God with us.’” • John 14:27 – “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you… do not let your hearts be troubled.” • John 8:12 – “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness.” • Titus 2:11 – “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people.” • Psalm 95:6 – “Come, let us bow down in worship… before the Lord our Maker.” • 2 Corinthians 4:6 – “God… made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of His glory.” • Psalm 34:18 – “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” ⸻ Lyrics & Composition: Mathew Viray ✨ Official Merch – Faith & Iron Collection 👉 Shop here: https://store.mathewviray.com ✨ Join this growing community — subscribe and let’s share the message of hope together. 🌎❤️ #christiansong #christianmusic #mathewviray
