Doom: The Dark Ages Made Me Rage Like It Was 1300 AD

DoomSlayer picked up a flail and said medieval problems require medieval solutions. So I fired up Doom: The Dark Ages expecting medieval chaos and somehow got exactly that but with more explosions than a trebuchet convention. This game feels as if Skyrim and DOOM Eternal had a baby that was raised on nothing but metal albums and pure aggression. In this video, I’m playing through Doom: The Dark Ages and yes I brought a flail to a demon fight. It’s brutal, it’s fast, and I’m pretty sure I committed war crimes in four different kingdoms. We’ve got first-person, combat-mounted, demon-slaying, and enough rage to fuel a castle siege. If you love chaotic action games, first-person shooters, or anything involving demon decapitations and medieval mayhem, this one’s for you. This is Doom but dipped in ancient blood and forged with the kind of energy drink that would probably be illegal. Expect glory kills with swords giant flaming skulls and me screaming “what is THAT” every 30 seconds. Like fast-paced FPS combat? Love rage-inducing boss fights?
