Mario Kart: Super Circuit - Part 5 - Lightning Cup + Star Cup (150cc)

The second episode of the coverage of 150cc takes us through the Lightning and Star Cup. We shall also play with the last character in the game today at that first one, so for the second one we are going to repeat characters for the first time again. We are getting close to the end at least. That is what it is looking like at least... Mario Kart: Super Circuit is the first Mario Kart game on a handheld system and the third installment in the series in total. With the Game Boy Advance able to handle graphics and processing power better than the SNES, this game feels like an improvement of the 2D Mario Kart system the first game invented. With more crazy venues than ever before combined with tough to handle driving mechanics, Super Circuit is sometimes seen as the black sheep of the Mario Kart family.
