Carving pumpkins used to be one of my favorite things to do but since moving, to the humid south, the rapid decline of a pumpkin is a bit dis appointing. Now there are products I could paint on a freshly carved pumpkin that would make it last but then it’s not able to be composted. Using a plastic container turned out to be just the answer. My goal now is to add one or two a year until our whole walkway is lined for Trick-or-Treaters!
