December 24, 2025 Candlelight Service 2025 Divine Science Church of the Healing Christ in Washington D.C. "What Child Is This?" by Rev. Gene Policastri It is perhaps one of the greatest miracles of all time. This truth that God has become incarnate with man, and that it is such that He is right here with us throughout all of our trials and tribulations. When we come to this realization, it feels like a new idea, like the birth of a child. And, we have come to celebrate the union of the recognition of our divinity with our humanity; we have come to associate it with the birth of the one individual who so fully brought this into realization that miracles were performed right from the very beginning. The Christ Child and His birth is precious to us, it is dear to us, and in Divine Science it has special meaning to us. We can rejoice this evening in the stillness, with our candles lit, and behold the wonders of His birth.
