Explore the Arctic Climate Change Tower | PolarQuest2018

From July to August 2018, PolarQuest2018, an international team of arctic explorers and researchers will venture to the Arctic ocean, from Iceland to the Svalbard archipelago, above the Polar Arctic Circle, on board Nanuq, a 60-foot sailboat designed to sail in the polar regions in a self-sufficient mode. They will carry out the first campaign to assess micro- and nano-plastic contents above 78 degrees latitude, using a Mantanet, drones and other innovative tools. PolarQuest2018 will share its polar adventure with the citizens of the world through a pervasive communication campaign, bringing together citizens and scientists and make them collaborate in new ways.
