UNICEF 1946-1959: An Agency for Children is Born

UNICEF correspondent Jane O'Brien reports on the creation of UNICEF, the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund, at the first ever session of the United Nations General Assembly. The aim was to provide humanitarian relief to children in the aftermath of World War II.
