Chopin’s Prelude No 16 in B-Flat Minor, Presto con fuoco ( Fast with fire !) 1839. Inspired by Bach’s The Well-Tempered Clavier 24 Prelude and Fugues in all keys, Chopin composed his 24 Preludes Op. 28 each in a different key so that the entire work is a complete cycle of the 24 major and minor keys, Chopin’s 24 Preludes Op. 28, are a collection of small pieces and each one follows the twenty-four possible keys. It evokes perhaps an image of a galloping wild horseman on a stormy night!
