carmillita homicide

Modesto-CA, Man fataly shot in south east Modesto roadway. Police confirm one deceased suspects still outstanding. At 8:12PM officers received a report that of a man that had been shot in the 200 block of Carmallita Way within the city of Modesto. Moments later officers arrived and found an unidentified male in the middle of the street deceased from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. Suspect or suspects in this crime are still outstanding and there is no known motive at this time. Modesto Police Department Homicide Detectives along with Crime Scene Investigators have been called to the scene and have begun their investigation. The 200 block of Carmallita rests within the South East area of Modesto and at this time the roadway has been blocked from Haddon to San Ignacio. It is unknown at this time if this killing is gang related and there are no reports of other victims
