Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' breaks Sunny Deol' starrer 'Gadar 2's record on Day 1

Shah Rukh Khan's much-awaited 'Jawan' finally got released on September 7th and received a record-breaking opening. Yes. The action-packed flick, which is garnering extremely positive reviews from critics and viewers, has beaten Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2' on day 1 at the domestic box office by earning almost double of Anil Sharma's directorial. While 'Gadar 2' opened at ₹40 crore when it was released almost a month ago on August 11, 'Jawan', which is enjoying an extended opening weekend, earned ₹75 crore across the three languages.
