LIGHT Test To Spot Fake Vintage Cards in SECONDS

I bought some fake 1933 & 1934 Goudey Lou Gehrig baseball cards at an antique store. While determining they were fake, I learned this one simple flashlight test that would have saved me some money. The majority of sets through the 1960's from Topps and other major manufacturer's have cardstock that is thick enough to not allow light to pass through (there are exceptions -1959 Topps for example). Modern reprints, reproductions and counterfeits will allow light to pass through easily like mine did. #1933Goudey #lougehrig #baseballcards
