Woodturning A Live Edge Walnut Bowl - RECUT

Woodturning A Live Edge Walnut Bowl - RECUT

In this episode, we feature the turning of a walnut log into a bowl with a live edge. This project was a challenge as we experienced several cracks and hurdles along the way. The result was a beautiful, rustic, live edge bowl that will either remain in our family for generations or be sold at the next garage sale. As this is the first video of the “Just A Guy In A Garage” series, we hope you walk away with some entertainment value and learn a bit about the competitive (and highly controversial) sport of woodworking. Visit our website and gallery (pdkwooddesigns.com) for an overview of the unique and decorative woodworking projects we have undertaken. One woodturner in particular has been EXTREMELY generous and supportive of my efforts over the last year.
