3-Alarm School Building Fire on Elmwood Avenue, East Orange

Sunday, June 12, 2022 EAST ORANGE, NJ - Firefighters battled a 3-alarm structure fire at the old Cicely Tyson School of Performing and Fine Arts School building on Elmwood Avenue. Firefighters from Newark assisted in extinguishing the fire. No serious injuries were reported. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
