Level 3 evacuations issued for fire burning near Government Way

The fire started at approximately 4:20 p.m. on Friday. It is currently burning approximately 5 acres. Level 3 (GO) evacuations have been issued for the large brush fire burning near Government Way in Spokane. Evacuations are in place for residents living between Houston on the North, Greenwood on the South, Grove on the West and Government Way on the East.
