Idaho Back Country Discovery Route (IBDR) Day1 Accident and Life Flight

The official day of our Idaho BDR did not turn out how we thought it would. Me and two other riders left Jarbidge July 25th for the Trinity Lakes area which is a long ride for one day. We made good time but missed a turn or two and towards mid afternoon we were close to Trinity Lakes where we would spend the night. We planned on meeting up with the other 3 riders of our group the nest day in or around Lowman. Somewhere close to Trinity our riding buddy hit a downed tree that was extending into the rode.
