This is a great way to burn a lot of calories and get a good leg pump in a limited amount of time! We’ll be working the quads, glutes and hamstrings in this 30 minute workout. Mega sets means we will perform 4 x 30 second variations of each exercise with no rest for a total of 2 minutes before we get a 30 second rest. The layout of these variations will be: Full range, 1 ½ Range, ½ Range and then a Hold (with mini pulses if you so wish). Some of the variations I use 2 dumbbells, some I use 1 dumbbell and some are performed with bodyweight. I'll be using 2 x 30 lb dumbbells but feel free to use lighter weights, heavier weights, or whatever you can find in your house to add resistance. Or simply use your bodyweight and really focus on activating and squeezing every muscle through the movements. There will be a finisher burnout of 5 exercises for 30 seconds each with no rest to really finish those legs off! Make sure you get a good warm up to begin with and a cooldown at the end. Make this workout your own! Take the rest when needed and modify or slow down the movements as you see fit, I definitely had to rest periodically today!
