Donbas on fire: Russian army continues shelling civilians from the temporarily occupied territories

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to liberate the cities and towns of the Donetsk region. About 20% of the Sviatohirsk territorial community had been occupied by the Russian invaders since the beginning of this summer. Sviatohirsk itself was partly controlled by the Ukrainian military. After prolonged fighting, the temporarily occupied territories returned under Ukrainian control. However, Russian occupation forces do not stop shelling the cities of the Donetsk region from various types of weapons. Over September 12, more than two dozen strikes on the residential and urban infrastructure of the region have been recorded.
