[MKWii TAS] N64 Bowser's Castle Lap 1 - 50.593 (Spear)

Authors: Kierio04, Marth, Malleo, Luke, Citrinitas, Ejay B, Wade474, Ancient This is a tool-assisted speedrun (TAS). Played on SwareJonge's Dolphin 5.0 LUA Core v3.3 and 3.5. Tools used: slow-down, savestates, frame advance, TAS input, TAS code, RAM watch (info display), LUA scripts, text files, and LuigiM's TAS toolkit. Please note we lost a lot of time in order to set up the line into lap 2. If we had continued normally the lap time would have been 50.465. The end of this lap may change for a more favourable angle into the barrel roll setup. Take that as you will. Because the barrel roll strat is only possible with spear and is possible with 2 mushrooms without losing essentially any time, Spear 1-2-0 is the fastest route. About the run, I can't say how happy I am that I've been a part of something this good. This is the most I've ever been able to optimise a Mario Kart Wii TAS and I wouldn't have been able to do it without any of the people that have helped so far. So thanks to each and every one of you... I'm glad to FINALLY finish this after 17 months of it needing to be a reality. Most of these strats are similar to the two Spear runs I uploaded earlier this month, however the big difference is the very beginning. The supergrind was discovered by Jellopuff in June this year, and managed to save 0.2 alone. The rest of the timesave comes from better lines and/or further optimisations (such as the stick on the second bridge, and the new double hop+instant wheelie on the staircase instead of drift stick + hop wheelie). I found most of these strats myself through testing, however Malleo and Marth came up with some minor additions to certain sections that saved little extra bits of time. I'm hoping the 3lap will be finished next month, however don't expect it too soon.
