Mindhunter season 2 features the behavioral science unit interviewing and catching, bad guys. One of the main things I like about it is the clear sense of progression. In season 1 they mentioned people like Son of Sam and Charles Manson but they didn’t have the clout to talk to them. This season, they do and the interviews are certainly unique to say the least, revealing things about the good guys and bad guys alike. In addition to that, Holden’s mental state adds tension to the interviews at the start of the season and Bill’s family drama adds to it later on. In subtraction to that, my least favorite element of season 1 is gone, which is the relationship between Holden and his gf. The actress was great, Holden was great, I just never cared about who Holden was dating. Moving on, although I liked the interviews, the Atlanta Child Murders section was my favorite arc mainly cause I could feel the exasperation of the characters. And even though this series is based off a nonfiction book, I felt like I was watching a really great fictional detective story. I can’t really say what it is cause spoilers but there’s a pretty brilliant, I guess you could call it an easter egg, hidden in one of the episodes. Watch closely boys, you never know where the killer might be. Shoutout to itsanoki for the thumbnail: • Cat ruins the Christmas Music from: https://www.bensound.com/royalty-free...
