[SMK NTSC] Koopa Beach 1 5lap 47"55 | 1lap 9"18

5lap Date: May 12, 2024 5lap Standard: Myth E 5lap Rank (As of Upload): 24 (23rd on page but Su hit a better time earlier in the week) 1lap Date: May 12, 2024 1lap Standard: Myth D 1lap Rank (As of Upload): 37 My first two Myth times! With a thumb injury and finals keeping me on the sidelines, I finally return to SMK this weekend with a pair of KB1 times. My first Myth time was a 9"22 on the 1lap that I hit about 2 hours ago. For the 5lap, I could not believe my eyes when I saw the finish time. I was stuck in the 49 range for a long while, and finally had broken through to a 48"72. I was hoping to get a low 48 before moving on, knowing that a 47 was probably a bit rich with the laps I was hitting. Somehow, this run got to the finish line. I was in call with Woomy, Sassak, and Schultz, and asked them to be quiet entering the 5th lap, but I had no clue what kind of run I was on. I am definitely done here for a long while, although there is still a lot of room for improvement. For the 1lap, there is certainly a lot more to be desired. I am moreso just uploading this because it is the end of the week. This lap is a lap 4 of my 5lap, so it doesn't do the proper ending, nor does it do any of the harder strats at the beginning, like NBTing through the first water patch, and going to the right of the dark water. I'm not sure if I'll beat this in the coming week, but I can definitely push this further. Not sure what is next track-wise, but it feels really good to be back (except for my hands, my hands hurt a good bit)
