The “grilled mini-octopus” restaurant is located within 5 minutes of walking out of the Hongik University station Exit 8 and is very easy to find. While the restaurant itself is a little bit small and cramped, the atmosphere still is relaxed and lively. The main dish, Jukkumi, is offered in two levels of spiciness, and the higher level should only be ordered by people who are serious spicyness-lovers. You can also order Jukkumi on its own, with samgyeopsal, with shrimp, or with thinly sliced beef. The banchan in this place are pretty basic but all very refreshing, making a nice combo with the main dish. Some additional menus such as the broiled eggs are also very delicious. Overall, this restaurant is not necessarily for having a cozy evening with friends but is rather the place where you can get a truly delicious meal before heading to a more comfortable like a café to enjoy the rest of the evening!
