Sheriff: Home of Nancy Guthrie, missing mother of 'TODAY' show's Savannah Guthrie, is a crime scene

Search-and-rescue teams, K-9 units and deputies worked throughout the day and overnight but were unable to find her. But as the investigation began, Nanos said, certain aspects of the case indicated foul play may have been involved. "We saw some things at the home that were concerning to us," he said at a Monday news conference. "We do in fact have a crime. We are asking for the community's help."
