When Navy veteran Alex Hale was involved in a car accident in 2023 that left him paralysed from the waist down, the whole Hale family's lives changed drastically. Watching Alex's journey to the Invictus Games has been both reassuring and rewarding for his family, who now know what he is capable of, and that he can still continue to stay connected through sport post injury. Alex competed as part of Team Australia for the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 in wheelchair basketball, biathlon and indoor rowing, with the whole Team Hale cheer squad by his side.
