||Independence day English speech 15th August speech @Englishlearnbystories 🌟 Independence Day Speech 🌟 Respected Principal, teachers, and my dear friends, A very good morning to all of you. Today, we have gathered here to celebrate the 78th Independence Day of India, a proud occasion for every Indian. On 15th August 1947, India became free from British rule after years of struggle, sacrifices, and pain. This day reminds us of the brave hearts who gave their lives so that we can live in a free and independent country. Leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, and many others dreamed of an India where we could live with dignity, equality, and freedom. Today, because of their courage and sacrifice, we are enjoying the fruits of freedom. But friends, freedom comes with great responsibility. As the youth of this nation, we must protect our country, respect our Constitution, and work hard to make India a land of peace, progress, and unity. Let us remember — freedom is not just a right, it is a duty. A duty to keep our nation clean, safe, and strong. A duty to stay united beyond caste, religion, or language. So, let’s take a pledge today: We will be good citizens. We will study hard, help others, and make India proud. We will never forget the sacrifice of our freedom fighters. Let us always be proud to say — “I am an Indian first!” Jai Hind! Jai Bharat! Thank you and Happy Independence Day to all!
