Miami Presents: "Punching Up" with Comedian Beth Stelling '07

Have you ever wondered what it is like to write for a hit comedy show? What about filming a Netflix show? Or even performing comedy in Brad Pitt's old backyard? Miami alumna Beth Stelling '07 does. On Tuesday, Nov. 15 at noon Julia Guichard, Miami University Professor of Theatre and interim Associate Dean of the College of Creative Arts will sit down with Beth and discuss her time at Miami and her career in comedy. Beth will cover writing for television, introduce us to "Punch-up" comedy, and share some of her most memorable career moments. Live viewers will also have the opportunity to ask Beth some of their own questions. For viewers that want to see Beth live, you can catch her on tour in a city near you! The Miami University Alumni Association will have a block of tickets along with a pre-show for her hometown show in Dayton, OH on Dec. 3.
