The Indian economy has retained the title of "a bright spot" in the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) latest world economic outlook report. India is slated to account for half of the global growth in 2023, compared to just a tenth coming from the combined might of the U.S. and European majors. At 6.1%, India is predicted to be the fastest-growing economy. However, the IMF predicted a dip in the Indian economy from 6.8% in 2022 to 6.1% in 2023.
