Tanzania government plans to provide subsidy to reduce fuel prices in the country

Tanzania's government plans to provide a 43-million dollar subsidy to reduce fuel prices in the country. The Energy Minister revealed in Parliament that the subsidy will help reduce spending in other sectors. Earlier, President Samia Suluhu Hassan held an emergency meeting at State House to address rising fuel prices. SABC's Daniel Kijo has more.
