All of Fake Crash's voice clips from Crash Team Racing, provided by Michael Connor. After appearing in Japanese commercials for the series and making a few cameos in various levels of Warped, Fake Crash makes his playable debut in the series with this installment, unlocked by completing the Purple Gem Cup or entering a cheat code on the main menu. As an Intermediate-type racer, he has similar stats to Crash himself, making him yet another great choice for beginner players. Indeed, the Japanese version of the game plays up Fake Crash's rivalry with Crash in the unlockable FMV cutscenes exclusive to that version, where Crash and Fake Crash compete in a race against each other (with Fake Crash training extra hard to defeat Crash, apparently), only for both of them to lose because of a missile. If it isn't obvious, Fake Crash was mostly created by the series' Japanese marketing team, and he's incredibly popular in the region as a result. Crash Team Racing is copyright Activision.
