All of Diddy Kong's voice clips from Mario Tennis Aces, provided by Katsumi Suzuki and reused from Mario Power Tennis, Mario Superstar Baseball, DK: Jungle Climber, Donkey Kong Barrel Blast, and Mario Kart Wii. I know the voice clips from this game were already uploaded on YouTube by Swiftie Luma, but if anyone was gonna reupload them, it was gonna be me! Anyways, after his absence from Ultra Smash, Diddy returns to the roster as part of the September 2018 update as the third DLC character, retaining his Speed-type playstyle from previous games as well as many of his Power Tennis/Open voice clips. As admittedly infamous as this game is, I will admit it definitely had a very good character roster by the end of its lifespan, and out of all 3 Mario Sports titles on the Switch, probably handled the "free updates" mechanic the best by offering monthly content for nearly a year after launch. Also, we were very lucky to have Diddy as a playable character in this game as well as Mario Strikers: Battle League, which is more than can be said for other Switch titles such as Mario Golf: Super Rush or Super Mario Party Jamboree.
