I AM THE NIGHT mode is hardcore only. With only one life, if I die my save is reset, and I must start all over. Batman: Arkham Origins takes place about 5 years before Arkham Asylum, on Christmas eve, where the notorious Black Mask has put a $50 million bounty on his head. This attracts eight of the worlds deadliest assassins. The physically dominating Bane, the expert marksman Deadshot, the veteran mercenary Deathstroke, the poisonous contortionist Copperhead, the pyromaniac Firefly, the voltaic Electrocutioner, the deformed criminal Killer Croc, and the master martial artist Shiva. Alongside this eight are a few cameo appearances from other Batman villains. Batman: Arkham Origins is developed by Warner Bros. Games Montréal and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Inc. Batman: Arkham Origins is a prequel to 2009's Batman: Arkham Asylum and 2011's Batman: Arkham City.
