ASC T-128 Siren Test in White Pines State Park 8/3/21

Siren: ASC T-128 AC/DC, 4 RPM, 545 Hz Town: Stratford, IL (Byron Exelon siren #50) Location: West side of White Pines State Park Test Time: 1st Tuesday 10 AM every month Cycle: 1:05 of alert Other notes: For 1st Tuesday in August, I got some Byron Exelon T-128s recorded, as it seemed like the plant was about to shut down due to lack of funding. Illinois came in at the last minute though and funded Byron for another 5 years, so these sirens are safe for the time being. Finally for the main video, we have this T-128 located deep inside White Pines State Park. This location was actually told to me back in 2015 when I was mapping out Byron Exelon and this was an E-Class until 2016. I didn't 100% believe that there was a siren here, as every satellite image showed nothing in this spot because of the trees. In July 2020, the day after my 8026 catch in Lee, I ventured out here to finally confirm it once and for all. It took me a few minutes to notice it, but then I spotted it. I was somewhat in disbelief because this is an unusual spot for an Exelon siren, but it was true. Now in August 2021, I came back to get a full recording. There's something so serene about standing in the middle of a forest surrounded by nature, only for it to be interrupted by the T-128 sounding off. Also, #NoieShot
