In this video, I show you the reality of how much I spent when I had to buy a small suitcase. I was not planning on buying the suitcase originally but I had to in order to resolve a specific issue . I normally do not believe that spending money on stuff will resolve any of lifes problems however in this case , buying the suitcase did resolve one specific problem. It wasn't a major inconvenience to actually go as I would have needed to go to get a few snacks anyway . The first stop was the Tesco Café which I just got the £4 deal that I filmed another time in a separate short. This cost £4 (obviously!) . Yes, the cafe did accept the clubcard so you can earn clubcard points on these. And they also accept Tesco gift cards such as the ones via cashback app. However, you can't use the Tesco vouchers from your clubcard in the Cafe . Clubcard in the cafe doesn't actually reduce the price but these points add up over time. In the main Tesco shop, I bought a meal deal and the suitcase. The meal deal cost £3.85 . The clubcard did get me a small discount on the meal deal . The suitcase cost me £28 exactly with my clubcard . It was this that made me gad to have the clubcard as if I didn't , I would have been charged slightly over double for the same suitcase . Total spend that day before cashback was £35.85. I earnt 35 clubcard points that day. I paid for all of the products using gift cards that I paid for via Cheddar . Cheddar is a cashback app. It saved me £1.25 on this trip . Total spend minus the cashback was £34.60 . This is far higher than I originally planned but then again, when I first planned this shopping list , I didn't know about the problem that would require me to buy the suitcase.
