Filmora 7.8 how to pan and zoom - quick, easy tutorial

How to use the new easy pan and zoom in the latest Filmora 7 (version 7.8 and 7.8.0) using right-click and 'crop & zoom' option from the file on the video timeline/track. You can do a 'Ken Burns' pan and zoom effect on motion and still video with greater ease in 7.8 than the previous versions (see previous tutorial on this channel). #Filmora #Panandzoom Tutorial useful? Like many things, I discovered the function by accident and notified Wondershare how to do it. I was awarded a one-year licence for such a key game-changer Ken Burns discovery! LOL) How to do it: 1. Move the needle to the start point for the zoom on the video track. Right-click 'Split'. Now move the needle to the end point for the zoom and right-click 'Split'. 2. Right-click on the split-off segment and select 'Crop and zoom' 3. Select 'Pan and zoom' at the top of the control menu that now opens 4. Select the dotted line/dashed line inner (smaller) box in the left panel window - this represents the end point of the zoom. Adjust the box so that the zoom pans and ends as required for the scene 5. Click 'OK' to apply and you've done it. Use 'Undo' if you want to redo any steps. Don't forget you can change a vertical image or photo to 16:9 by clicking that option in Pan & Zoom and then marking the end point of the zoom to your preference (the sequence will then be in 16:9 even if the source image was vertical or longest side upwards! A good tip that some other tutorials have omitted, perhaps). Be sure to click the 👍 button and subscribe for more content! Subscribe here    / @prontocuriosity Â
