Dr. Fauci weighs in as covid infections rise

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the chief medical advisor to the president, spoke with April Ryan about the need for Black Americans to get vaccinated. According to Dr. Fauci COVID infections are rising and Black Americans are at risk. Minorities are still disproportionately impacted by the virus because they have a higher level of underlying conditions including: hypertension, diabetes, asthma, obesity, the things that give you a more likelihood of a severe outcome were you to get infected. Dr. Fauci says the best way to protect yourself is to get vaccinated and boosted.
