First start off by going back in order to do the secret mission (How is anyone supposed to figure that out?). This secret mission involves killing 3 Shadows. You start off with one close to you, with the other two slowly catching up, but it is important to kill it quickly, before the other Shadows catch up. The first Shadow starts off with a preemptive attack. The best way I've found to dodge it is to spam the jump button. The invincibility frames from the jump will protect you. It is not 100% consistent as you need Dante to do a full jump and not a hop jump, and sometimes he ends up doing a hop jump and getting hit, but it's the best way I've found. For the last Shadow, it will most definitely be DT'd, and with such a confined space, it is hard to dodge. So I just turn the core red and run like hell. I decided to grab the Nightmare-β in this mission. I will show it off in Mission 16. When I was picking it up, I messed up and jumped down before I grabbed it. This is bad because enough time will have passed for the Shadow to DT. Fortunately, I somehow was able to dodge the self defense spikes and got out without getting hit. Finally, I get to show off my strategy for Griffon 3. Griffon 3 is an amazing boss fight because there is so much to it. Griffon 3's AI changes depending on how close you are to him and there are quite a few different techniques of fighting him, all can be very effective. My strategy involves both long range fighting and close range knockdown focused attacks. A technique when using Meteor is to get double hits. Both timing and positioning is important to get one. If you notice, I keep rolling after his lightning storm attack to get into a better position to try to get a double hit. I really like fighting Griffon, but the next missions will involve other bosses, all of which are quite challenging.
