2008 Ford F-150, No crank, no start Possible solution

2008 Ford F-150 won’t crank, or start. When the truck is cold, no problem starting. Let it run and shut it off when it’s hot and it wont start back up. Found the small 1amp diode located in the fuse box on the left side of the engine bay near the left wheel well. Take out the small black diode and place it in the freezer for a few minutes, replace it, and the truck should start.
