Kentucky Senator Rand Paul re-elected

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WKRC) - Lexington Mayor Jim Gray, a Democrat, unsuccessfully tried to unseat US Senator Rand Paul. Paul was seeking a second term and was re-elected. Tuesday evening Paul said, "I want to thank each of you for giving me the privilege of defending the constitution for 6 more years. Cheers." He continued, "While there is much that divides us, there is also a uniquely American hope that unites us. My hope is that we will find common ground. That we will rediscover that our prosperity is bound to our liberty."
