A Plague Tale: Requiem is an action-adventure survival horror stealth video game developed by Asobo Studio and published by Focus Entertainment. It is the sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence (2019), and follows siblings Amicia and Hugo de Rune who must look for a cure to Hugo's blood disease in Southern France while fleeing from soldiers of the Inquisition and hordes of rats that are spreading the black plague. Chapter 4 of A Plague Tale: Requiem has Amicia and Lucas heading through town toward the harbor, searching for a man named Joseph working for the order, who can use his boat to get everyone out of town. Amicia and Lucas managed to escape the fort just in time to bring the calming herbs back to Hugo. Amicia is inpatient to learn if Hugo has made it through the Magister’s treatment, but Lucas invites her to resist. The Magister says that Hugo has reached the last threshold of the curse and is adamant on locking Hugo away, much to Amicia’s chagrin. If this wasn’t enough, Amicia learns that Hugo is condemned to death and there seemingly is no way of saving him. Amicia and Lucas must now head for the harbor in search of a man that will grant us passage to Marseille where the Order’s headquarters are and where Hugo’s curse may be contained.
