Peter Dutton rejects Prime Minister’s request to attend Garma Festival

Sky News Australia can confirm Opposition leader Peter Dutton has rejected a request from the Prime Minister to attend the Garma Festival. Mr Dutton has been to Arnhem land twice in the past 12 months and he has made visits across the country to other Indigenous communities. “The Prime Minister had to be shamed into visiting Alice Springs earlier in the year when it was enduring a period of crisis. Peter Dutton has spent plenty of time in the red dirt this year,” a source close to the Opposition leader told Sky News Australia.
