Tracking Tropical Storm Elsa: 8 a.m. Sunday update

Elsa continues to hold steady as a strong tropical storm pelting several Caribbean islands with heavy rainfall. As of 8 a.m. Sunday, Elsa has 65-mph sustained winds and is moving west-northwest at 13 mph. The National Hurricane Center says the storm is expected to track near or over Jamaica on approach to Cuba. Beyond that, impacts to Florida are looking increasingly likely: a tropical storm watch has been issued for parts of the Florida Keys.
