Great Horned Owl Watercolour Speed Painting

I wanted to try another owl after doing the barn owl. I think this turned out pretty well :) I used so much salt in this painting...it was probably enough for my salt quota for the month! I wish I spent more time on the drawing though, the owl's torso is a little too long (I should of put in some feet). In the end I just cropped out the bottom so it's better. Guess you always learn something from a painting! I'm super happy with how the background turned out! Never thought the green would pop the owl out so much. The total footage of this video was about and hour and a half. Editing it down to 7 minutes wasn't too too hard. I was gonna shoot for about 5, but it ended up being so fast you couldn't tell what I was doing! I also didn't realize you guys could see the fruit loops until I was editing the video....The audio was awful (be glad you can't hear it). You could hear me chewing throughout the painting...
