What are we supposed to do with the next generation? They act differently, use words that you can't understand, don't conform to expectations, and yet are deeply loved by God and are the future of the church. That kid picking his nose during the Christmas play? Might be your next pastor. The girl who won't smile at anyone? Might be a missionary. That guy who can't seem to get his life together? Might create an eternal impact by being on fire for God in the workplace. If we want to know how to care for the next generation, we must look at these three teachings from Scripture: 1. The heart of Jesus for the next gen (Matt. 18:1-6; 19:13-15) 2. The role of parents for the next gen (Eph. 6:4; Deut. 6:6-9; Prov. 1:8-9; 22:6) 3. The responsibility of the church for the next gen (Titus 2:1-6; Eph. 4:11-12; 3 Jn. 4)
