Each team consists of 5 players, with 4 playing each match, and they battle it out in a Swiss system over 11 rounds. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. No draw offers are allowed before move 30. Teams score 2 match points for a win and 1 for a draw.
