Russia advancing in Donbas cities with reinforced troops, airstrikes

우크라 동부 전선 공방 지속…"러시아 병력 1만 6천 명 집결" Ukrainian officials say Russian troops, now reinforced and backed by air strikes, attacked bridges and apartment buildings on Saturday as they fought to capture two cities that would give Russia control of the last Ukrainian held areas of Luhansk province. According to the regional governor, Serhiy Haidai, Russian and Ukrainian troops were fighting street by street in Severodonetsk and Lysychansk. At one point recently, Russian troops controlled 90 percent of Severodonetsk, but Haidai said Friday that Ukranians had clawed some of it back. In the south of the country, Ukranian troops are counterattacking, trying to take back regions where Russia has already installed local administrators.
