LABOUR SPLIT EXPLAINED

This week, 7 members of the Labour Party resigned and formed a new group called The Independent Group. This was due to problems within the Labour Party such as antisemitism, racism and bullying. Jeremy Corbyn and his militant wing of the party, Momentum, have now fully taken over the party, which has led to these MPs leaving and starting a new political party. In this video, we look at exactly what happened on the day of the Labour split.
