For Cyclists: Norwottuck / Canal Greenway / Manhan Rail Trail Ride

Come for a spin on this network of bike paths in central Massachusetts! On this ride, my cycling muse John and I started our jaunt midway through the Norwottuck Rail Trail (entrance behind the mall at 327 Russell Street, Hadley MA). We then turned on to the Northampton Canal Greenway for a spell before following the Manhan Rail Trail until its end (at 10 Coleman Road in Southampton, where we turned back). There are wonderful bridges -- including a massive one over the Connecticut River -- little tunnels, forests, fields and small towns to enjoy along the way. The path itself is well maintained & smooth with the occasional rolling hill. The weather was perfect to boot! Runtime: 1 hour ten minutes. Distance: 11.6 miles (Return trip is not shown; all in, this is a 23+ mile ride). Get on that exercise bike, add your own tunes and ride along with us! Enjoy, Steve (& John)
